Tapping Fluid 138

Tapping Fluid 138 is a pure process oil with carbon nano-onions, developed exclusively for threading operations – i.e., thread cutting and thread forming. It is used undiluted and is not water-miscible.

The product combines a highly effective EP/AW additive package with the CNO active principle: maximum pressure resistance at the cutting edge, rolling friction instead of sliding friction at the deformation flank. The results are reduced tool breakage, cleaner thread flanks, and 50 to 400% longer tool life, depending on the material and process.

Tapping Fluid 138 is used undiluted directly on the tool or via drip, spray, or brush application. Suitable for machine taps and chipless thread formers in all common metals.
