Min. 2-year target service life.

If the operating and maintenance conditions described below are observed, a service life of the Tool-X 101 EU emulsion of at least 24 months is realistic – defined by NanoCoolant as the target service life. This statement does not constitute a statutory guarantee or warranty in the legal sense.

01 · Exclusive use

  • No intentional introduction of foreign substances into the emulsion.
  • Not permitted: salts or salt-containing media, cleaning agents, system cleaners or biocides without approval.
  • Not permitted: third-party metalworking fluids, oils or additives from other manufacturers (excluding normal machine-related ingress of tramp oils from guides, spindles and ball screws).

02 · Reduction of foreign substance ingress

  • Use of a NanoCoolant C-Thru Separator is recommended.
  • Continuously separates tramp oils and non-emulsion-compatible components from the metalworking fluid circuit.
  • Supports the chemical stability of the emulsion and significantly reduces the risk of premature ageing.

03 · Water quality & replenishment

  • Make-up and replenishment water exclusively according to the manufacturer's specifications.
  • No chloride- or salt-containing additives.
  • No deliberate modification of the water chemistry.

04 · Concentration control

  • Operation within the recommended application concentration of 5–8 %.
  • Regular monitoring using a refractometer (factor 2.083).
  • Replenishment exclusively with Tool-X 101 EU.

TRGS 611 · Nitrosamines in water-miscible metalworking fluids

COMPLIANCE

Tool-X 101 EU complies with TRGS 611. The product is free from secondary amines and nitrosamine-forming substances. When used and maintained correctly in accordance with the conditions above, the requirements of TRGS 611 are fully met.
